Sales Executive

The scope of this role is that you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities via outbound calls & site visits. You will manage your new business accounts for a minimum of 60 days before they are transferred to the relevant Customer Account Manager.

Key Objectives

  1. To ensure that your profit targets are met of which are set out in your job definition.
  2. Increase company profits.

Reporting

The position will report to the Sales Director.

Responsibilites

  • Manage customers and prospects supplied by the company.
  • To understand the full range of products and services offered by the company.
  • To ensure that all sales enquiries to the company are answered promptly and efficiently; that key details of callers and site visits are recorded and entered in the database; that source of enquiry is recorded for later analysis
  • To ensure that all leads are followed up within a reasonable period of receipt and that they are accurately categorised and followed up according to priority. This involves personal activity as well as supervisory.
  • To ensure that your personal profit objective set by the company is met or exceeded each month.
  • To ensure that your personal call and visit objective set by the company is met or exceeded each month
  • To ensure orders are processed and invoiced within a time frame to the customer's satisfaction.
  • To ensure that customers have the means to pay for goods and services.
  • The role will require responding to the changing needs of the business and additional duties that may be requested by the directors, Manager or Supervisor from time to time. Some special events may require working outside of core business hours.

Salary: £14,700 Basic £30k OTE Closing Date for applications: April 29th 2011
