Our printer will not be used for a week/two weeks. Will it be alright stood for this long?
If a printer is not used for a period of three days or more, the inks may start to dry out. This can cause blockages within the heads and stop them firing correctly, which can be difficult and expensive problem to resolve. It is therefore important to prevent this happening, by flushing the printer through with maintenance flush and leaving it in this "flushed" state until it is to be used again.
