Q - I have imported a file into EasySIGN, but it has come in as a red rectangle with a cross through it rather than the image. Why has this happened?
A - There are a number of different screen quality settings available within EasySIGN. The Wireframe setting will display outlines of vector images and text, and will display bitmaps as rectangles with a cross through them. To view bitmap images, select "View" from the EasySIGN menu, followed by " Quality" and change the setting, from Wireframe, to either Low, Medium or High settings available.
Q - I have just installed EasySIGN onto my new computer, but when I open it an error message comes up saying " Dongle not found". How do I resolve this problem?
A - Ensure the dongle is fitted securely into the computer. If you have a USB dongle, check the red light is on. If both are correct, try the dongle in an alternative USB port. If this still doesn't work you will need to update the HASP (dongle) driver, by downloading the file HASP HL Device Driver GUI Installation, from www.aladdin.com/support/hasp/enduser.asp.
This zip file contains an executable file that will update the HASP (dongle) driver. If, after installing this updates driver, this problem persists please email support@victorydesign.co.uk.
Q - I have a large, high-resolution image that I wish to import into EasySIGN, but it keeps crashing. Why?
A - Opening large files (50MB or more) into any software uses a lot of memory, and can take a long time to load. EasySIGN is no exception. The best solution is to ask your customer to resize the image and send it to you as a smaller size, this will save you lots of your valuable time (around 25% of its finished size is recommended).
Q - After re-installing EasySIGN, I get the message: "This is not a valid document" when trying to open previously saved EasySIGN files?
A - This problem can occur when you are trying to open files that have been created and/or saved using a later version of EasySIGN.
To solve this problem, it will be necessary to download a, free of charge, upgrade service pack from the EasySIGN website, at www.easysign.com. After updating the service pack, the files will open in EasySIGN. Should this problem persist please email support@victorydesign.co.uk.
Q - I have an image that I need to print, but its too wide/long to print on my current printer. Is there a way to panel it into sections?
A - EasySIGN allows you to panel jobs quickly and easily. Use EasySIGN's extensive help library to obtain detailed guidelines notes on this matter.
Find the Help menu, and select Help Topics. Within the topics you will find a section entitled "Panelling", this explains how to panel jobs.
Q - After installing EasySIGN and inputting all the codes, the following screen appears. How do I stop this happening?
A - EasySIGN requires a special code ("No Time Limit"), without which EasySIGN will only run for 300 hours. If this screen appears then you do not have this code, or you have not entered it correctly. The No Time Limit code can be found within the codes originally supplied with EasySIGN. You will have received them by either fax or email.
If you have the codes, please ensure you have entered the No Time Limit code correctly. If you do not have the codes, please email support@victorydesign.co.uk to request them, this will allow you access to the full version of EasySIGN.
