Customer Account Manager

Working as part of a focussed team but individually responsible for a UK based territory as part of our overall sales strategy. The aim of the role is to generate sales opportunities though telesales, converting a high proportion of sales leads into orders. Our customers regularly repeat order as often as 3-4 times a week. All of our customers and potential customers have a need for the types of product we supply.

Key Objectives

Achieve/exceed profit target each month

Achieve/exceed key performance indicators leading to profit target

Support existing Customer Account Managers, Managers and Directors.

Reporting sales results, telephone activity and significant enquiries

Responsibilities

Managing customers and prospects supplied by the company.

Source and develop new customers from Internet, Social Media and other sources

To ensure that all sales enquiries are answered promptly and efficiently; that key details of callers are recorded and entered in the database; that source of enquiry is recorded for later analysis and detailed but pertinent notes are recorded.

To ensure that all leads are followed up within a reasonable period and they are categorised appropriately and followed up according to priority.

To ensure that your personal profit objective set by the company is met each month.

To ensure that your personal call objective set by the company is met each month.

To ensure orders are processed and invoiced within a time frame to the customer's satisfaction.

To ensure that customers have the means to pay for goods and services.

The role will require responding to the changing needs of the business and additional duties that may be requested by the Directors or Sales Manager from time to time. Some special events may require working outside of core business hours.

The position will report directly to the Sales Manager

The Person

We are looking for a Confident, Driven individual. An Achiever who is capable of using their Initiative when required. Previous Account Manager/sales experience would be desirable but not essential. Ideally you will be someone looking to progress within the business filling roles that develop from our ambitious growth plans.

OTE Salary in the region of £20,000 inc. bonus
