FAQ
We sell Nikkalite Hi-S Cal by the meter at 610mm and 1220mm widths. We also sell this material at 25mm, 50mm, 100mm and 150mm widths however; this is by the roll, which is 45.7m in length.
We recommend that you warm the substrate by applying gentle heat to the surface and carefully peeling away. Adhesive remover may be required as adhesive residue may remain following the removal of the vinyl.
The performance life of Nikkalite Hi-S Cal is 3 years, mounted vertically.
Before you apply Nikkalite Hi-S Cal vinyl, ensure that the substrate surface is completely clean and free of contamination such as dust, grease or oil. When applying, the surface temperature must be over +10° C, but no hotter than +35° C. ideal application temperature is 20° C.
There is no manufacturer approved storage instructions for Hi-S Cal, however vinyl is generally best stored in a controlled environment with temperatures around 20° C and a relative humidity of 50%.
The manufacturer does not officially acknowledge Hi-S Cal’s suitability for printing. You may do your own testing to determine what inks will and won’t work with Hi-S cal. We recommend that if text is required, that it be layered on top of the product in vinyl.
