Our friends at Restoring Memories have been at it again! This time, they've put our glitter t-shirt vinyl - easiMARK Glitter Intense - to the test with one of the most intricate designs we've ever seen!
The chosen design would be the perfect opportunity to exercise those weeding skills! To add a little more interest, Gordon also decided to create this design using a glitter garment film.
The results were stunning! Here's what happened...
The Design
The first step was to recreate the design in a single colour and ready for cad cutting. Gordon managed to keep the vast majority of the original detail and only modified it where necessary for the cad cut process. There was much to this design that would be a challenge when weeding.
How would this go with the glitter garment film?
Time to weed!
Using easiMARK Glitter Intense, Gordon plotted the design with a 60 degree blade. Then, with the help of his trusty phone for reference, he started weeding away! Gordon's tools of choice were tweezers, weeding pick and of course, masking tape for collecting the weeded material!
The finished design
When the design was weeded, it was time to press. The design heat applied in just 15 seconds with no flaking or bits of glitter where there shouldn't be! The finished result looks stunning! The single colour is really effective against the red hoodie and highlights just how intricate this design is!
