Paintmask Blue is specially developed for use where a peelable mask or stencil is required (typically as a masking product during the spray-painting of flexible-sided vehicles). The film offers superb cuttability and clear edge definition in use, coupled with a smooth-finish face film and a medium-tack, peelable adhesive for easy handling. Paintmask Blue is resistant to most mineral oils, fats and fuels, aliphatic solvents, mild acids, salts and alkali solutions - e.g. diesel oil, gasoline, paraffin, hydraulic oil, anti-freeze, soap suds and many more.
FAQ
Once your design is cut out, apply application tape to the surface of your stencil film. Peel away the film’s backing, then apply it to the intended surface and press it on firmly with a squeegee, removing any bubbles.
Our Paintmask Blue comes in 1220mm and 610mm widths, with 50 meters on a full roll.
Paintmask Blue has a medium-tack, removeable acrylic adhesive.
Paintmask Blue has a face-film thickness of 100 microns.
The ideal temperature for storing Paintmask Blue is 20°C at 50% humidity.
Paintmask Blue is designed for temporary adhesion and ease of removal, under correct use cases, Paintmask Blue will not leave adhesive marks on the substrate.
